What do I record with?: Your phone's built-in voice app — Voice Memos on iPhone or Google Recorder on Android. Both free, both already installed, both produce audio Komiti can transcribe cleanly. A dedicated recorder (Zoom H1n, Tascam, lapel mic) is also supported.
Where do I upload?: komiti.ai/upload from your phone or laptop browser. Drag-and-drop or pick from files. Works on iPhone Safari, Android Chrome, Mac, Windows. Encrypted in transit and at rest.
Is there a native iOS or Android app?: Not in v1 — mobile web covers the workflow cleanly. You can install Komiti as an app from your browser ("Add to Home Screen") and it behaves like a native app. We'll only build app-store apps if customers tell us they need them.
How long can the recording be?: Any meeting length. Most AGMs and board meetings run 60–90 minutes. Longer sessions (extended association AGMs, complex strata schemes) supported up to 4 hours per file.
What happens to the audio after I get the draft?: Stored encrypted for 30 days for re-runs and audit, then deleted automatically. You can request earlier deletion at any time, or extend retention if your professional obligations require it.
What if the draft has errors?: Expected — every draft is watermarked AI-assisted draft — you must verify before finalising. You edit before approving and signing. That step isn't optional; it's the legal-record posture that lets us issue the draft in the first place.
